About the Role :

The Production Administrator position is responsible for obtaining scheduling coverage needs are met to effectively run the business.  They will assist in getting coverage for call-ins and requesting additional employees if needed per the discretion of Management. They will follow up on questions and concerns on the off shift. In addition, they will be responsible for other assigned duties per the Operations Managers.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Weekly schedules 70+ employees across multiple production lines and shifts to ensures bakery has coverage for regular shifts and employee call outs (ex. make calls to qualified employees or work with Supervisor to a find replacement for absent or late employees)
  • Communicates updated information regarding scheduling issues via phone, email, and face-to-face with management and during Tier Meetings
  • Keeps detailed Call in Log updated with how call outs were handled and update time and attendance system with schedule changes
  • Assists supervisors and leads with time keeping capabilities
  • Reprints and posts updated schedules as needed
  • Processes Modification Log for shifts daily, works to resolve and communicates all issues
  • Works with managers to coordinate job bid movement and coordinates training
  • Works with HR and Staffing Agency to acquire labor.

Who we are looking for :

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including being able to use and create Excel spreadsheets.
  • Experience with SAP, UKG, Kronos or similar scheduling software
  • Attention to detail and maintains confidentiality
  • Must be able to work with employees at all levels
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including coverage beyond normal hours to cover for absences and other business needs
