Recently acquired by Shell, Texas Petroleum group is being operated independently as a wholly owned subsidiary. This ownership change brings ambitions for accelerated growth as well as new regulatory and compliance requirements to be implemented. We are immediately hiring a friendly and energetic individual to join our Environmental Compliance support team!
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Position : The successful candidate will have a track record of meeting high standards of performance. The incumbent will be an organized self-starter with a high level of service.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Data entry and analysis of 160+ different gas stations’ monthly water, gas, energy, and waste invoices
- Evaluate data to identify possible water leaks and generate requests to resolve at different locations as needed
- Maintain permits and provide usage reporting to TCEQ and Subsidence districts for seven (7) water wells
- Ensure valid maintenance contracts are in place and maintain inspection records for five (5) on site sewer facilities
- Order additional waste services as requested by store / territory management
- Request water meter readings from various water utility districts, along with miscellaneous service requests
- Fill out Commercial Account Update Request forms and submit to respective districts as needed
- Minimize late fees incurred on invoices by handling invoices in a timely manner and in extenuating circumstances facilitate the approval of account notations / deadline extensions
- Maintain office, breakroom, and housekeeping supplies
- Transport Mail and Documents between warehouse offices and corporate offices
- Coordinate in house lunches when needed
- Order uniform shirts for office and field personnel
- Great visitors and ensure they sign in per company requirements
- Receive and distribute deliveries from USPS, FedEx, UPS
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required experience :
Good knowledge of Microsoft WindowsMicrosoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Data EntryExcellent communication skills (verbal and email), strong attention to details with ability to multi-task.A self-starter, quick learner with awareness to meet deadlines.Additional Requirements :
