Strategic Sourcing Director

BGIS is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Director to join the team in Tampa, FL.

The Strategic Sourcing Director leads activities in the development and delivery of strategic sourcing plans for key categories. The position responsibilities include category planning and delivery and strategy development, leading opportunities assessments, competitive bids, supplier performance measurement and management, supplier contract development and implementation. The role also identifies and implements leverage opportunities across all accounts and achieves great efficiencies and cost savings. The Strategic Sourcing Director leads others positively exemplifying BGIS values.

RESPONSIBILITIES : People Leadership

• Provide direction to Sourcing team communicating objectives and expectations to meet business objectives.
• Lead talent searches, selection, hiring, on-boarding, training, team member engagement, development, performance management, and compensation recommendations.
• Manage team member recognition focus with development and implementation of action plans to improve team member survey satisfaction scores.
• Direct team prioritizing initiatives and setting weekly, monthly and annual goals.
