Job Purpose : Performing analytical procedures which regularly require a professional level of knowledge to execute, interpret, and / or analyze, especially those results which are abnormal or atypical.

Qualifications :

Minimum Education Required : Bachelor of Science degree.

Minimum Experience Required : One year of supervised clinical experience in an approved clinical laboratory.

Minimum Licensure / Certification Required by Law : Certification as a cytotechnologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the International Association of Cytotechnologists (IAC).
