Staffmark is hiring a Maintenance Technician in San Diego, CA! This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical and mechanical skills who enjoys troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Pay : $28.00 - $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule : 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 5 : 00 AM - 1 : 40 PM
Responsibilities :
- Lead and direct the daily activities of the maintenance technician team
- Oversee projects, scheduling, and equipment maintenance plans
- Implement and maintain technical and safety standards, including Cal-OSHA requirements
- Start up and shut down powered equipment safely
- Perform preventative maintenance and accurately record data in equipment logs
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures efficiently
- Recommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and reduce waste
- Support and train operators on proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Maintain spare parts inventory and assist with new equipment installation
- Calibrate testing instruments and ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications
