Evening Newscast Producer

Nexstar Media Inc. station, KRON4, the San Francisco Bay Area's Local News Station, is looking for an Evening Newscast Producer. We are looking for a producer who knows how to showcase the big story and can quickly adjust for breaking news. This position will line produce, edit videos and create some newscast graphics. The evening producer will work out of our San Francisco studio on The Embarcadero. KRON4 News does more news than any other station in the Bay Area. We produce 13.5 hours of news on the weekdays, and 9 hours over the weekend.

This will be a full time, non-union, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Line produce a one-hour newscast in ENPS
• Write news stories and teases.
• Edit video for stories and teases using Adobe Premiere
• Create / order newscast graphics.
• Time newscast in the control room and adjust as needed for breaking news
• Communicate with reporters, assignment desk, anchors and managers
• Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required
• Shift may include nights and weekends

Qualifications

Compensation : $32.00+ / hr. to commensurate with experience and skill level
