Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate action. 2. Inspects completed finished units and bottles in process using statistical sampling techniques and following printed procedures to evaluate quality of products. 3. Selects, according to sampling tables, percentage of production lot of bottles. 4. Examines bottles to judge quality of appearance, packaging, and decoration. 5. Measures dimensions and performance criteria with customer or company supplied specifications using measuring instruments. 6. Rejects or accepts production according to quality of samples inspected. 7. Communicates with supervisors when samples are found to be non-conforming in order that corrections can be made to machine setup or operating procedures to eliminate further production of unacceptable quality. 8. Has the authority to place the product on hold and shut machines down. 9. Performs other duties as assigned
