We're Hiring : Engineer Planning Analyst 2! 🌟

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineer Planning Analyst 2 to support strategic planning and analysis for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, engineering background, and experience in project planning to drive operational excellence and support critical decision-making processes.

Location : Newport News, United States

Work Mode : Work From Office

Role : Engineer Planning Analyst 2

What You'll Do :

Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs.

Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements.

Supports and participates in negotiations with customer.

Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources.

Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters.

Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.

What We're Looking For :

Bachelors in related field and 3 years of relevant professional experience.

1 year of relevant experience with a master’s degree.

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience.

Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience.

4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

Equivalency :

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience.

Master’s Degree and 1 year of experience.

4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

An Apprentice Certificate or graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School can be substituted for bachelor’s degree.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • HYBRID position - 3 days onsite, 2 days offsite
  • POTENTIAL PERMANENT POSITION after 90 DAYS - provided there is a mutual positive experience
  • Clearance not required to start, but active Confidential clearance is preferred (to start) and needed for long-term

Statistical Analyses and Data reporting.

Run and manage Cognos reports.
