Semper Home Loans, a trusted and growing national mortgage lender, is seeking a detail-oriented, driven, and highly skilled Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our headquarters team in Providence, RI. This is a full-time, in-office position- no remote work is available. If you excel in loan processing and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Process and prepare mortgage loan files from initial application through final approval.
  • Ensure full compliance with bank, investor, and regulatory guidelines while upholding exceptional customer service standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for borrowers, internal teams, and third-party providers-resolving inquiries and collecting required documentation.
  • Manage a high-volume pipeline (35+ active loans) with precision and efficiency.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA, FHA, and USDA programs.

Qualifications :

  • Education : College degree preferred.
  • Experience : 2-5 years as a Mortgage Processor or Loan Officer Assistant.
  • Technical Skills : Proficient in credit policies, underwriting requirements, and closing procedures; Encompass LOS experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Fair Housing Regulations preferred.
  • Exceptional multitasking, organization, and deadline management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
