Position Description
The Program Manager 2 Traffic School is a non-civil service position and is responsible for monitoring and enforcing the General Sessions Court Traffic School and maintaining compliance with the National Safety Council. Manages the General Sessions Court Traffic Education Program under the direction of the Probation and Traffic School Director. The position will perform the administrative and supervisory duties involved in overseeing all activities of the Traffic School and administer for the General Sessions Court criteria for Traffic School attendance. The Program Manager 2 - Traffic School position will also supervise a staff of 4 to 5 persons.

Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of experience in criminal justice, court services, or a Traffic School environment. Licenses Required Valid Driver License Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply. Note : Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
