Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you'll care for a diverse patient population including :
Post-operative patients recovering from surgeries such as craniotomies and spine surgeries.Patients suffering from strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume cases involving cervical and spinal surgeries.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute, you'll have the opportunity to work with the latest neurosurgical techniques, enhancing your clinical skills.

Provide and coordinate high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.Utilize your clinical judgment and communication skills to enhance the patient experience.Why Join Us?

Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness.Recognize and respond to significant changes in patients' conditions proactively.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and learning resources for families.Coordinate discharge plans collaboratively and apply evidence-based practices.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives for better care outcomes.Qualifications :
Registered Nurse license from the practicing state.BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Skills :
Ability to deliver compassionate, holistic patient care in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks.Physical Requirements :
