Position Overview

We are seeking to add an experienced and results‑driven Sales Professional to our team. This role requires a highly skilled professional with over 7 years of experience in transportation / Logistics sales, particularly within a 3PL environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling both transactional and dedicated transportation services across multiple verticals. The individual will be responsible for identifying and securing new business, managing customer relationships, and working collaboratively with various internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• New Business Development : Identify, prospect, and qualify new customers whose transportation needs align with MW Logistics' services, including Freight Brokerage, Yard Management and Drayage.
• Needs Assessment and Analytics : Conduct in‑depth analysis and needs assessment for potential and existing customers to recommend the best service solutions. Utilize data insights and sales enablement tools to conduct lead generation activities for new business, including cold calling, networking and other prospecting methods in order to convert new business.
• Sales Process Administration & Improvement : Complete administration requirements for managing account, identify areas for improvement within the sales process and customer service to enhance both internal and external support and processes.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Work closely with the Pricing, Operations. Sales, Account Management and Leadership to secure and maintain customer relationships.
• Customer Scorecards : Actively review and manage customer scorecards to track performance and satisfaction.
• Customer Communication : Provide continuous, seamless, and timely communication with customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
