Charting system experience, preferably Cerner.

Travel experience is required.

Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in MS / Tele Float.

The role requires floating to various units including Med Surg, Progressive Care, and ED Observation.

Weekly shifts will be scheduled for three 12-hour night shifts.

The position involves a weekend and holiday rotation with a commitment of 50% of holidays.

Nurses will be responsible for managing comprehensive patient care, including telemetry monitoring and medication administration.

Experience in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and tracheostomy care is essential.

Candidates must be adept in high acuity patient care settings.

A strong understanding of oxygen administration, IV maintenance, and wound care is necessary.

This role mandates adherence to infection control protocols and isolation precautions.

Patients in this unit are primarily adults and geriatrics.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Floating to different units is a requirement for all travel staff.

Work responsibilities as a Patient Observer (sitter) may also be part of the role.
