Worldwide Senior Manager, Leader, Mainframe Modernization Agentic AI and Partner Scaling

We are seeking an accomplished leader to help build out a global high performing business development and partner scaling specialist team focused on helping customer modernize their mainframe platforms. The leader will report to the Mainframe Modernization GTM (go-to-market) organization which is within the broader specialist sales organization.

Key job responsibilities

• As a leader of the Mainframe Modernization Specialist and Partner Development organization your responsibilities will include driving strategic mainframe engagements and helping customers and partners deepen business and technical relationships with customers.
• You will build high-performing teams of Mainframe specialists and Partner Development Specialists. You will focus on scaling the Mainframe modernization business and partner eco system supporting the business growth scaling existing AWS services delivering enablement to the broader field organization and developing repeatable packaged solutions to solve customer challenges. As the voice of the customer you will influence product teams to help them evolve the products and address issues concerns and requests from the field.
• To be successful you will need to analyze and determine key customer insights from business drivers market trends and customer feedback and operating metrics.
• You will be responsible for establishing clear goals and deliverables for your team including customer engagements scaling mechanisms and commercial agreements with the partners speaking engagements creating GTM content and more. You must ensure that your team is continuously learning and differentiating AWS with and for customers. You will be expected to plan and allocate for the best use of team resources in order to meet your team goals.
• Develop deep and trusted relationships with CxOs and leadership of selected market making System Integration Partners in Mainframe specialty by gaining a comprehensive understanding of their challenges goals and long-term vision.
• Engage closely with key partners to help them develop their AWS practices and develop compelling market offerings to help customers accelerate business value realization from AWS adoption.
• Lead and develop a team of Partner Development Managers and drive partner-sourced revenue growth and cloud adoption across worldwide

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174300 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $288200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits.
