This is a remote position.
Respite Care of San Antonio (RCSA) provides services to enhance the stability and nurturing opportunities of families caring for a loved one with developmental disabilities and / or complex medical diagnosis. Our goal is to strengthen and stabilize families prevent possible child abuse and prevent or delay institutionalization of the child with special needs.
We offer various services for children with developmental disabilities and / or complex medical diagnoses such as a full-time daycare mothers day out program family day out / parents night out program and summer camps. Along with this we are a licensed emergency shelter and foster placement agency for children who have been taken into state protective custody.
The Remote Customer Care Entry Clerk will provide high-quality customer support and accurate data entry services for RCSAs client families caregivers and internal staff. This role is a remote front-line position combining strong customer-service interactions with detailed data-entry and administrative tasks to support the mission of RCSA.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a remote point of contact : respond to customer inquiries via phone email chat or other digital channels in a courteous timely manner.
Enter update maintain and verify customer / client / caregiver data in RCSAs information systems and databases (for example : client profiles service records scheduling billing caregiver information).
Ensure data accuracy identify and correct errors or inconsistencies maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
Maintain digital filing systems : organize scan index and store documents and electronic correspondence for easy retrieval.
Assist with general clerical / administrative tasks such as drafting standard correspondence / emails scheduling follow-up calls updating logs or records generating simple administrative reports.
Manage inbound and outbound communications to support customer service and operations : track enquiries escalate as needed ensure follow-up and resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams (service delivery scheduling billing administration) to ensure data supports operations and customer needs are addressed.
Work from a remote workspace : maintain professional remote presence reliability of internet / technology and secure handling of data.
Uphold the organisations privacy and security standards (including handling of sensitive personal / family data).
Perform other duties as assigned to enable smooth administrative and customer-care operations.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary / associates degree preferred).
No experience needed we will train and training is paid
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage customers professionally and clearly in remote channels.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Proficiency in standard office technologies (Microsoft Word Excel Outlook) and willingness / ability to learn new systems / databases.
Ability to work independently self-motivate and manage tasks in a remote environment.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet organized home workspace conducive to remote work.
Working Conditions & Other Information
This is a fully remote role. Standard business hours (e.g. MondayFriday) unless otherwise specified; some flexibility may be required.
Must maintain a secure remote work environment and adhere to RCSAs data protection and confidentiality policies.
Occasional non-standard hours or additional duties may occur based on service-need or special projects.
The successful candidate will support RCSAs mission : to protect love build trust and nurture growth of children with special needs while strengthening the families caring for them.

Required Skills :
High School diploma or equivalent required Associates degree or higher education preferred Minimum two years of experience working with direct care; developmental disabilities and / or childcare experience preferred At least one year experience as a supervisor (more than 5 employees) Must be at least 21 years of age Valid drivers license Ability to pass all background checks Ability to attend 40 hours paid new hire orientation training during the day First Aid and CPR certifications preferred (may obtain after hired)
