Job Summary : The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for providing critical operational and financial support to Network Connex and its Operating Companies. This individual will work directly with business and financial leaders across the enterprise to help drive financial performance and achievement of our long-term objectives. The FP&A manager will play a key role in the Company’s financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning as well as preparing presentations for internal and external constituencies. Key deliverables include monthly and quarterly reporting and performance insights, weekly and monthly KPI’s, annual budget and periodic forecasts and other ad-hoc projects requested by the Executive Leadership team.

Job D uties and Responsibilities :

  • Support and drive improvements in the Company’s budgeting and forecasting process. Key areas of focus include developing a consistent approach, structure, and timeline. Further, leverage technology (i.e. NetSuite) to improve the overall process.
  • Refine in-year forecasting templates to improve the accuracy, efficiency, and consistency of the forecasting process across OpCo’s.
  • Partner with Executive Leadership to ensure budgeted performance is in-line with economic and industry expectations.
  • Collaborate with OpCo’s and finance team to build 3–5-year strategic plans.
  • Support continued evolution of monthly OpCo business reviews through content development, analytic support, and active participation.
  • Analyze current and past KPI trends in all areas of revenue, job costing, expenses, and capital expenditures. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership where appropriate.
  • Develop and monitor KPI’s. Leverage technology and data visualization to build real-time reporting to support improved read / react capabilities.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and forecasting tools.
  • Identify cost savings and process improvement opportunities; utilize benchmarking data were possible.
  • Prepare presentations for Board of Directors and Executive Leadership team.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision as well as excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to clearly communicate with different levels in the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and a high sense of urgency is required. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are required. NetSuite and Vista Viewpoint skills are preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and data visualization platforms is a plus.
  • Education and Experience :

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a similarly structured organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA and / or MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage technology to improve processes. Experience with NetSuite ERP is a plus.
  • International FP&A experience is helpful.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to carry and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • This position will require sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, and using fine motor skills, such as finger dexterity.
