Staffing and Scheduling Coordinator, 30 40 Hours per week

TheStaffing and Scheduling Coordinator(SSC) will help ensure employees know they are highly valued and well respected, and our clients experience the high standard of care we strive to provide. The SSC will have a strong desire to understand the needs of our clients and use this to identify CNA / HHAs with the skills and disposition to meet their needs. Must be able to identify and resolve issues that could negatively impact caregiver and client relationships. Seeks opportunities to praise others. Processes many types of information required for screening, hiring, and scheduling CNA / HHAs. Performs other tasks as assigned. Is efficient and effective while multitasking in a busy office environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Answers the phone in an upbeat, life-giving, professional manner.
  • Understands individual client needs and scheduling requirements, in order to identify the CNA / HHA who is the appropriate match.
  • Handles client and caregiver concerns both inside and outside of normal business hours. (Willing and able to be on call to resolve scheduling issues outside of office hours.)
  • Communicates with associates and clients to evaluate service.
  • Serves as a team player.
  • Assists with all phases of the hiring process (e.g., interview, reference checks, orientations)
  • Maintains notes and documentation in AxisCare.
  • Responds promptly and respectfully to all communications (e.g. clients, caregivers, prospective clients, applicants, business associates).
  • Reports to the Administrator and RN and works closely with the Administrative Assistant.
  • Successful problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Naturally demonstrates how highly valued and well-respected our employees are for the care they provide to our clients.

EXPERIENCE :

  • Scheduling : prefer a 1-year minimum in healthcare scheduling, not required
  • CNA License or HHA Certificate highly preferred.
  • EDUCATION / SKILLS / ABILITIES / AVAILABILITY

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic office, computer skills, and organizational abilities. Excellent interpersonal relations abilities. Excellent telephone skills.
  • Knowledge of the in-home care / home health care industry.
  • Able to work independently, demonstrating good judgment.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Be available to remotely answer the office phone after hours when scheduled.
  • Job Type : Full-time, or Part-time 30 - 40 hr minimum
