We are looking for someone to help build this program from the ground up, ensuring that it provides a supportive, engaging, and creative space for early childhood education with the potential to expand into a full community-based academic program.If you're ready to help shape a new program that combines the best parts of child care and academic growth, we want to hear from you!What Youll Be Doing : Program Leadership & DevelopmentLead the creation of this new academic and child care program, focusing on both care and academic growth.Develop and implement a curriculum that balances academic readiness, social-emotional growth, and inclusive learning.Guide the program through its early stages with the vision to evolve into a fully integrated academic program.Instructional LeadDirectly manage the classroom, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported, and engaged in the learning process.Lead day-to-day operations, developing structured yet flexible routines that balance academic learning with creative play and exploration.Provide hands-on leadership, working directly with children and ensuring their academic and emotional needs are met.Team Management & DevelopmentRecruit, hire, and onboard new team members (teachers, assistants), ensuring they align with the programs values of inclusivity and creativity.Lead, mentor, and provide ongoing training to ensure all team members deliver high-quality care and education.Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, ensuring team members are empowered and motivated.Program Setup & OperationsEnsure the program meets licensing and compliance standards, while creating a nurturing, functional space for children.Manage the daily operations, including developing routines that balance academic learning with free play.Parent Communication & Community EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for parents, providing clear communication about their childs development and program updates.Build relationships with families, ensuring they feel engaged and supported in their childs journey.Recruiting & Marketing SupportAssist in promoting the new program, creating marketing materials to increase enrollment and attract families.Help communicate the programs vision to the community, showcasing its inclusive approach to education.Licensing, Compliance & AccreditationEnsure the program meets all licensing and accreditation requirements, maintaining high standards for health, safety, and educational quality.Support professional development for team members, ensuring they maintain required certifications and training.What Were Looking For : Experience in early childhood education and / or special education, with a passion for creating inclusive environments where all children can thrive.DCYF Licensing Requirements : Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must hold or be willing to obtain a Washington State Early Childhood Education (ECE) Initial Certificate or an equivalent qualification within five years of hire.Must complete Child Care Basics and other required health and safety training (e.g., First Aid, CPR, Bloodborne Pathogens, Safe Sleep).Completion of required DCYF training and certification, including ongoing professional development to maintain compliance with state regulations.Ability to pass a background check as required by DCYF for child care providers.Proven experience with program setup, licensing, and compliance in child care and educational settings.Strong people management skills, with experience in recruiting, training, and leading teams of educators and assistants.Excellent communication skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships with both team members and parents.Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic with a passion for helping children learn, grow, and explore in an innovative environment.Resourceful and flexible, able to adapt and find solutions to challenges as the program develops.Leadership skills, with the ability to manage both teaching and administrative responsibilities as the program evolves.Why Join Us?Lead a brand-new program : Youll be a key player in the development and growth of a new academic and child care program, with endless opportunities for innovation and expansion.Be part of a supportive team : Join a collaborative and positive team at Circle Creek Therapy, where your ideas will shape the future of the program.Professional development : We are committed to your growth, offering opportunities for training, certifications, and career advancement.Competitive salary and benefits, including paid time off, healthcare, and more.How to Apply : Ready to help us create something special?
