About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager of IT to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment. The Manager of IT will oversee IT operations, lead the IT team, and ensure the implementation of effective processes and tools to support organizational goals. A candidate located in the Las Vegas or Phoenix metro areas is preferred, but the position has the flexibility to be remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the IT team, ensuring effective collaboration and execution of IT projects and day-to-day operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IT security tools and processes to safeguard organizational assets.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, applications, and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support PCI compliance and related audit processes to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align IT initiatives with business goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels within the organization, providing updates on IT initiatives and addressing technical concerns.

QualificationsRequired

  • A college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience managing IT teams is required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience working within IT is required.
  • Experience working with IT security tools and processes is highly desired.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Preferred

  • Experience within the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Experience supporting PCI compliance and related audit processes is preferred.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience managing and supporting Okta SSO.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment with a highly dynamic and fast-paced culture is desired.
  • Location

    This is a remote position, however, the ideal candidate will be based in either the Las Vegas or Phoenix metro areas to enable occasional on-site meetings as needed.
