Director of Nursing Long-Term Care / Home Health

A respected healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations and lead a dedicated care team in a long-term care or home health setting. Key responsibilities :

• Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical staff within the facility or program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.
• Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and workflow to maintain optimal operations.
• Monitor quality assurance and performance improvement programs, addressing areas of concern proactively.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a role model for patient-centered, compassionate care.
