CornerStone Staffing is hiring for a well-established company in Coppell, TX that needs immediate support during a high-volume period. If you're detail-oriented and experienced with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, this short-term Accounts Payable Clerk role could be a great fit!

Accounts Payable Clerk – Microsoft Dynamics Expert

Location  Coppell, TX | Hybrid (Work from Home Wednesdays)

Compensation & Schedule

  • $25+ BOE
  • Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
  • W2, 12-week contract assignment
  • Start date : Mid November

ROLE IMPACT

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you’ll support a high-volume billing department for a leading national wellness brand. Your contributions will be essential to ensuring invoice accuracy and timely vendor payments during a peak operational season. Mastery of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and a focused AP background will allow you to streamline workflows and maintain compliance across financial operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process large volumes of vendor invoices daily using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Execute full-cycle AP functions : invoice entry, coding, approvals, and payments
  • Perform accurate 3-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly payment runs in alignment with internal controls
  • Partner with purchasing and finance teams to maintain audit-ready records
  • Assist with month-end close and reporting for AP

    • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5 years of experience working exclusively in a billing or Accounts Payable department (not general accounting or administrative support)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central — must be able to navigate modules, post batches, and research transactions independently
  • Demonstrated experience processing high invoice volumes with attention to accuracy and deadlines
  • Thorough understanding of invoice matching, coding, and payment cycles
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs preferred) and familiarity with AP automation tools
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve vendor issues professionally

  • Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • AP automation platforms (e.g., Tipalti, AvidXchange, Stampli)

    • PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in contract or short-term AP roles
  • Familiarity with multi-entity or franchise accounting environments
  • Background in health, wellness, retail, or similar sectors
