LAK Executive Search is pleased to announce Vice President of North America role with a confidential global leader in Wear Management and Surface Protection, serving the steel, mining, cement, and recycling industries.
Position : Vice President - North America
Location : Wisconsin
Compensation : $200K–$210K base salary plus annual bonus potential of $50K–$60K
This senior leadership role represents the Company across the U.S. and Canada and reports directly to the Group President & CEO. U.S. operations include a large welding shop producing custom finished and semi-finished OEM parts such as large metal pipes, wear plates, and also provides comprehensive repair services on its parts.
The VP North America will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and achieving sales and operational goals for several sites in the U.S. & Canada. Success in this role requires a strong ability to lead with strategic clarity, foster cross-functional alignment, and deliver measurable outcomes in sales growth, profit growth, and market share expansion.

What you'll do :
Plan realistic, but ambitious forecasts and annual budgets
Drive all sales activities to ensure growth of market share
Continuously implement improvements to enhance sales effectiveness and on-time delivery
Lead several manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada
Anticipate and proactively manage short and long-term operating plans
Be an agile and dynamic leader who is flexible and able to change direction
Be able and available to travel 70%, with 10% international travel
What you'll bring :
Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, chemistry, or metallurgy
15+ years of strong, stable, progressive service sales and people leadership experience
Significant experience supporting new product introductions
Experience with high volume automated manufacturing utilizing advanced controls for precision parts
Proven track record of service sales experience in comparable businesses
Ability to communicate candidly and encourage candid feedback from cross-functional teams
Demonstrated track record of developing appropriate risk mitigation strategies
P&L read-digest-understand-explain experience
