HVAC Field Service Manager

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Field Services Manager to work in residential homes, performing service and repair tasks on air conditioning units, ducts, and heating systems. This role involves being the first point of contact for HVAC technicians seeking assistance in troubleshooting and management. You will communicate directly with homeowners to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations, addressing customer concerns and ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Additionally, you will mentor and train service technicians to enhance their technical skills and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HVAC service technicians with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs in the field.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for technical questions and on-site problem resolution.
  • Ensure technicians follow safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Communicate directly with homeowners to explain system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic explanations to help customers make informed decisions.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Mentor and train service technicians to improve technical skills and customer service.
  • Monitor daily service schedules and assist in dispatching as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of service reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with office staff to streamline service operations and improve efficiency.

Essential Skills

  • 5-7 years of HVAC experience / service experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems (heating, cooling, ventilation).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • EPA Certification and relevant HVAC licenses (as required by state / local regulations).
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Simi Valley, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00 / yr.
