Senior Tax Professional Orlando, FL | Finance & Accounting Industry | On-site (Seasonal Role) A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Professional to join its team on a seasonal basis. In this role, you’ll help individuals and small businesses navigate their tax filings while building meaningful client relationships in your local community. You’ll work on-site from a tax service center, providing both in-person and virtual assistance to clients using modern digital tools. This position blends professional tax expertise with customer engagement and community outreach, empowering you to make a difference while delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities : Prepare and review federal and state individual tax returns (Form 1040). Provide personalized tax advice to help minimize liabilities and maximize refunds. Handle a wide range of cases — from simple W-2s to complex returns involving business income, amendments, or investments. Educate and support clients in understanding tax implications related to major life events. Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and trust. Represent the organization at local events and serve as a community ambassador. Qualifications : 2+ years of paid experience preparing 30+ federal and state tax returns per season. Active PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number). Licensed as an EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Attorney. Solid knowledge of current tax laws and Circular 230. Excellent communication skills; bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus. Tech-savvy with experience using tax preparation software and CRM tools. Must reside in the U.S. and be available for on-site work during the season. Attributes : Customer-focused with strong empathy and professionalism.
