Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist . Our client is looking for someone who has 2+ years of AP experience, high attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. This position is hybrid with one day remote.

The salary range for this position is $21-32 / hr

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following :

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process vendor invoices and payment request into AP systems.
• Match invoice with purchase order and receiving.
• Balance vendor statements and rectify all discrepancies.
• Review employee expense reimbursement request.
• Coordinate and process vendor and employee payments each month.
• Mange new vendor setup and existing vendor information changes.
• Assist in month-end closing activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

The Accounts Payable Specialist will possess the following :

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Associate's degree in accounting, business or closely related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
