Head of Finance and Operations

A growing travel company in Boulder, Colorado is looking to add a Finance & Operations Manager to their team! This person will be responsible for managing and improving core financial operations including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, expense management, and cash flow. You will play a key role in supporting international operations through accurate payment execution, commission calculations, and inter-company transfers. As a cross-functional partner, you'll lead system implementations, streamline supplier workflows, and develop financial reporting dashboards to support leadership decision-making. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and passionate about building scalable processes that drive growth. Responsibilities include reviewing and executing supplier payments, managing payroll and commissions, optimizing payment systems, validating vendor invoices, supporting budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with compliance and audits in coordination with external providers. Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in Finance Operations

Strong experience in AP processes, and have shown ability to drive improvements in AP processes

Experience with international payments, FX and financial systems.

Proficient experience with SaaS platforms such as Ramp, Accounting Software and Payment Platforms

Strong analytical capabilities with a proven ability to derive actionable insights from financial data

Skilled at designing and implementing processes in dynamic, fast paced startup environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Passion for travel
