BIM / VDC Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled BIM / VDC Coordinator to join our team, responsible for overseeing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) processes. The ideal candidate will facilitate project collaboration, improve project delivery, and ensure that all design and construction processes align with industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage BIM and VDC processes across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement and maintain BIM standards and protocols.
  • Utilize Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Revit software for 3D modeling and coordination.
  • Conduct clash detection and resolution sessions to mitigate design conflicts.
  • Provide training and support to team members on BIM and VDC tools and practices.
  • Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders, including CEO and President.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in BIM and VDC coordination.
  • Required experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Experience with SysQue, eVolveMEP, or Fabrication Parts is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
