Electrical Designer

A cutting-edge engineering group is seeking an Electrical Designer to focus on Life Safety and Security Systems for high-tech facilities including semiconductor plants, data centers, and advanced manufacturing sites.

Pay Rate : $43.27$60.09 / hr

Type : Contract (through at least 5 / 6 / 2024, likely longer)

Location Options : Onsite in Austin, TX Fort Worth, TX Portland, OR Pittsburgh, PA or 100% Remote

Schedule : MondayFriday | 8 AM 5 PM | Minimal OT

What You'll Do :

Design and draft surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection systems
Work in AutoCAD and Revit to create 3D models and BIM packages
Collaborate with engineers and apply NFPA, IBC, and ICC codes
Help deliver complex security systems for world-class clients

What You Need :

35+ years' experience with AutoCAD (Revit preferred)

Experience designing security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion)

NICET certification or other manufacturer / equipment credentials

Familiarity with NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 101, IBC, and IFC a plus
