Entry Level Technician

Join our dynamic team as a Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing various home appliances. Work in a clean, safe, and climate-controlled environment, ensuring all equipment is ready for resale to a third party.

Responsibilities

  • Grade, test, and repair appliances such as microwaves, laundry machines, dishwashers, and ranges.
  • Meet productivity standards after the first three weeks of training.
  • Assist in other operational areas as needed.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete appliance testing and grading according to company standards.
  • Wear protective equipment as required.
  • Identify sources of mechanical issues by observing and listening to devices in operation; diagnose and perform necessary repairs.
  • Document preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, part usage, and other projects.

Essential Skills

  • Experience with mechanical, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and mechanical assembly.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Specialized vocational training.
  • Strong background in hand tools and power tools.

    Work in a super clean and safe, extremely large distribution center equipped with automation and robotics. Join a bustling environment with many team members onsite. Only steel-toed footwear is required on the first day; all other necessary equipment is provided.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, Illinois.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.75 - $22.75 / hr.
