Job Description

The ideal applicant is dependable and has experience as described below. This driver will only spend a few days per month overnight. The advantage is being home most nights. Pay will vary based on experience.

Duties include :

Deliver equipment to Industrial facilities, ensuring the proper material is delivered on time, safely, and according to customer policies.
Load and unload trucks, safely utilizing material handling equipment, when necessary.
Driving various routes daily.
When not driving, will work in the shop.

Requirements :

Must have current, valid CDL and clean driving record.

Must have experience driving a full semi-truck and trailer

Must have experience with flatbed-open deck trailers.

Must be able to pass a background check

Able to properly operate forklifts and auto-crane on delivery trucks.

Regularly lift and / or move objects 10-50 lbs. Must be able to push, pull, squat and climb.

Possess a strong work ethic, and a dedication to results.

Must be available to work overtime, including some weekend work. A few days per month overnight travel may be required.

Experience :

Commercial driving : 2 years (Required)

Driving a full semi-truck and trailer : 1 year (Required)

License / Certification :

CDL A (Required)
