Manufacturing Engineer I - 6-Month Contract

Redbock is excited to welcome an Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer to the Medtronic team at their Watson Site in Grand Rapids, MI . This is a fantastic opportunity for engineers with approximately 3 years of experience in manufacturing who are passionate about applying their skills in process improvement, Lean manufacturing, and ERP systems .

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in daily manufacturing problem-solving and ensure robust process documentation within ERP systems.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and DMAIC methodologies to enhance efficiency and elevate product quality.
• Contribute to the design of manufacturing processes, optimize production layouts, and develop sequences of operations.
• Conduct inspections of equipment and processes to guarantee optimal performance and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to uphold exceptional quality standards.

Qualifications :

Product Involvement : Engage with a variety of products at the Watson Site, including ARVE, Aortic, and BHT devices .
