Piper Companiesis looking for an HR Operations Data Scientist to join a forward-thinking, data-driven organization located in Morrisville , NC to lead the use of AI and machine learning in HR workflows and drive innovation across individual, team, and enterprise levels.

Responsibilities for the HR Operations Data Scientist :

  • Lead the design and implementation of AI / ML models to uncover insights from HR data
  • Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for NLP tasks like summarization, classification, and sentiment analysis
  • Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for automation and smarter decision-making
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and bring new ideas to improve how people work

Qualifications for the HR Operations Data Scientist :

  • 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI / ML and NLP
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, R, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.
  • Proven success in developing models that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field

    • Compensation / Benefits for the HR Operations Data Scientist :

  • Salary Range : $130,000 – $140,000 annually
  • Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Holidays
