Piper Companiesis looking for an HR Operations Data Scientist to join a forward-thinking, data-driven organization located in Morrisville , NC to lead the use of AI and machine learning in HR workflows and drive innovation across individual, team, and enterprise levels.
Responsibilities for the HR Operations Data Scientist :
- Lead the design and implementation of AI / ML models to uncover insights from HR data
- Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for NLP tasks like summarization, classification, and sentiment analysis
- Collaborate across departments to identify opportunities for automation and smarter decision-making
- Stay ahead of emerging AI trends and bring new ideas to improve how people work
Qualifications for the HR Operations Data Scientist :
4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI / ML and NLPMust be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.Hands-on experience with Python, R, and ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face.Proven success in developing models that drive measurable business outcomes.Strong understanding of responsible AI use, data privacy, and security.Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related fieldCompensation / Benefits for the HR Operations Data Scientist :
