Position : McKinney-Vento District Homeless Liaison Assistant
Location : Central Administrative Services Sand Springs Public Schools
Calendar Days : 180 days (per SSPS fiscal year contingent on available grant funding)
Daily Hours : 7hours daily
Benefits : Paid Flexible Benefits Allowance
Travel Stipend : $1000.00 yearly
Status : Non-Exempt
Reports to : Susan Cox- District Homeless Liaison Claudia Smith- Federal Programs Director
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or equivalent
Associates degree preferred
Job Goal :
To assist in identifying and overall needs of Sand Springs Public Schools McKinney-Vento (Homeless) students and provide assistance with funding sources related to federal program requirements.
Evaluation : Yearly

Regular Requirements
Stand for extended periods; walk; twist at the neck and trunk; bend and reach with hands and arms overhead above the shoulder and horizontally; repetitive use of fingers and hands to grasp and / or operate equipment and demonstrate lessons to students; lift / move up to 15 pounds
Occasional Requirements : Lift / move up to 25 pounds ability to administer CPR
Visual Requirements : Close color peripheral depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Hearing / Speaking Requirements : Adequate to exchange information
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Additional Skills Required :
Use computers for various applications such as database management or word processing.
Manage email box for incoming invoices including printing and distribution for processing
Research and code invoices for payables
Work with controller on monthly accruals.
Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems recording information updating paperwork or maintaining documents correspondence or other material.
Operate office equipment such as scanners copiers and phone systems.
Complete forms in accordance with company procedures. Other duties as assigned.
Other Skills / Abilities
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as MS Office managing files and records designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
Communicating effectively verbally or in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
Strong organizational skills
Clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files or providing information to callers
Utilize Google Suite of products
