As a Security Professional - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Killeen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol healthcare locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This role is both armed and driving, requiring you to respond promptly to situations and provide exceptional customer service to staff, patients, and visitors. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Wednesday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor access points and assist with the enforcement of facility policies regarding entry and exit.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or emergencies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with crowd control and / or visitor management as needed, especially during peak times or special events.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff and other personnel to support a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Certification required for positions in Texas.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
