Job Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor leads a team of technicians and collaborates cross-functionally to uphold our brand’s reputation for excellence. Join our team and help shape the future of beauty through excellence in quality control.
This is what you will do :
- Manage the chemistry and microbiological laboratories.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the Quality Control team
- Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures and protocols for raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
- Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and other relevant standards
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and regulatory reviews
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Regulatory Affairs to support product development and continuous improvement
- Train and mentor QC staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
- Monitor environmental conditions in production and lab areas to ensure product integrity
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Establish and maintain effective, professional relationships with our internal and external customers to support production ensuring only quality products are released to the market
- Interact with Manufacturing management as their point of contact and foster a professional relationship.
- Communicate effectively up and down the chain of command.
- Evaluate staff resource needs and prioritize as appropriate.
- Perform recruiting and training tasks for new personnel.
- Perform work onsite.
- Other duties as assigned.
This is what you need :
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.Microbiology Experience a mustMinimum 3-5 years’ experience in quality control within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceuticals, or food industriesExperience with analytical testing methods (e.g., pH, viscosity, microbiological testing, etc.)Experience with analytical testing methods (e.g., pH, viscosity, microbiological testing, etc.)Detailed understanding of 21 CFR, USP, ISO or other regulatory standards.Excellent organizational skills in handling multiple priorities and meeting required business objectives and milestones.Previous Supervisory experience is preferred.Practical knowledge using Design of Experiment (DOE) and data analysis tools.Comprehensive experience with analytical laboratory tools and software systems supportive of the needs of the function.Proactive professional with well-developed analytical & problem-solving skills, oral / written communication skills, and project management skills.Requirements added by the job poster
