Job Title :

  • Tool and Die Maker Job Summary : We are looking for a highly skilled Tool and Die Maker with a strong background in injection mold building to join our precision manufacturing team.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience fabricating, maintaining, and repairing tools, dies, and molds used in the production of plastic components.
  • This role requires expertise in machining, mold construction, and technical drawing interpretation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Build, repair, and maintain injection molds used in plastic part production.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering specifications to fabricate precision tooling.
  • Operate manual and CNC equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM machines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve mold designs and manufacturability.
  • Perform changeovers, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics on existing injection molds.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety protocols.

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tool and die making, with emphasis on injection molding.
  • Skilled in using hand-fitting techniques to ensure components’ proper assembly and function.
  • Proficient in operating manual and CNC equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and Wire / Sinker EDM machines Proficient in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with the different injection, cooling, and ejection systems common in injection mold designs.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in TIG and / or precision laser welding is a plus.
