Restoration Technician

Job Title

FT, Mon-Fri, 8am-4 : 30pm, Paid for Full Day regardless of clients scheduled, PTO, No Work on Holidays, Company Vehicle, and Uniforms. Paid Training and room for Advancement.

Position Summary / Purpose

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company's obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Follow Rainbow's uniform policy

Utilize Rainbow 17 Steps to World Class Customer Service System

Effectively perform all restoration services the company offers (Note : Compensation levels will reflect the skill level of the Technician. Hourly rate increases as ability to perform water mitigation, fire restoration, odor control, mold, trauma scene, and asbestos certifications are added.)

Communicate effectively with customers

Perform basic equipment maintenance

Perform basic vehicle maintenance

Inspect completed work

Complete technician's daily log

Complete Work Orders

Complete appropriate restoration documentation

Keep a clean and neat job site at all times, leaving the first-class impression of our work

Participate in an "On-Call" rotation for after-hours service calls. (This involves some night and weekend responsibilities.)

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles

Maintain inventory of related supplies

Decision Rights and Authority

Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company's services at the customer's property

Working Relationships and Scope

Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers

Technical Is appropriately trained and / or certified and effectively performs all production work within the restoration division.

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience

High school (or GED) diploma.

Mathematical Skills

Adequate math skills Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and a number of units.

Computer Skills

Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Certification in performing appropriate services : IICRC WRT, ASD, FSRT, OCT, AMRT, etc.

Compensacin : $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
