Role Summary :

The Drupal Front-end Developer will play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing Smile Trains digital experiences, including websites, microsites, and donation pages. Leveraging expertise in Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, this role ensures responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces that support global marketing initiatives and drive engagement with our mission.

Reports To : Senior Director, Digital Innovation

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain web content, microsites, donation pages, and landing pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within Drupal CMS
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Collaborate on web content launches aligned with marketing initiatives
  • Conduct quality assurance (QA) testing for accuracy and functionality
  • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to guide design and user experience

Qualifications :

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, anticipating project needs
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS / SASS, Vanilla JavaScript
  • Experience with React (NextJS) or Vue.js
  • Experience with Twig templating and TailwindCSS
  • Familiarity with Git and Git-flow workflow
  • Experience with Drupal (preferred) or other CMS platforms
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe XD
  • Comfortable with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, Asana, Notion Documentation.
