We also create modified work and rehabilitation programs to facilitate the swift return of injured employees to work.

Job Summary : As a PA / NP for our On Call Nights and Weekends role, you will play a crucial part in providing direct patient care and ensuring efficient clinal operations. Your responsibilities will include timely documentation of patient encounters in the EMR, conducting pre-employment physicals, and addressing worker’s compensation injuries by referring to specialists or the Emergency Room when necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment.
• Administer treatment for injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards.
• Efficiently manage patients to maintain continuous patient flow and minimize wait times.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests like x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
• Perform minor outpatient surgical procedures such as wound closure, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal.
• Instruct and counsel patients on compliance with therapeutic regimens, communicate test results and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with the Clinic Medical Director to ensure adherence to medical and professional standards.
