About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its nationally recognized College of Education. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the complexities and challenges in higher education, particularly in the context of teacher preparation and educational leadership. Responsibilities include providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and ensuring the College's alignment with the University's goals. The Dean will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive vision and strategy that enhances the impact of educator and leadership preparation. This role demands a leader with a distinguished academic record, a doctoral degree, and a minimum of five years of academic administrative experience, preferably at the Dean, Associate Dean, or Department Chair level.

They should be prepared to lead efforts in student recruitment, and enrollment management, and to foster partnerships with educational institutions, non-profits, and government agencies. The Dean will also be responsible for managing a significant operating budget and overseeing a talented team of leaders.
