Psychiatric - Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Annual Salary : $125k $155k (varies depending on years of experience)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner who holds dual licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family / Adult / Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (FNP / ANP / AGNP) to join our client s interdisciplinary outpatient team in Essex County, NJ. This role involves providing medication management, psychotherapy, and primary care services to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Provide medication management and psychotherapy services in accordance with best practice guidelines.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on symptoms, medication adherence, and when to report concerns to clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in care delivery.
