• Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T
• Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including CMM, Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc
• Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated / Painted and bare material parts
• Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure that aerospace products meet pre-defined standards of quality
• Participate in product design reviews to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the onset
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams to establish quality requirements for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products
• Design and execute testing processes for product verification, including setting up of testing equipment and instrumentation
• Analyze data from testing processes to identify areas for improvement in the quality systems
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformities and develop corrective and preventive action plans
• Maintain compliance with national and international quality standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001
• Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations based on findings
• Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audit finding reports
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analyzing quality data to improve product manufacturing
• Review suppliers’ purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements
• Participate in supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with company standards
