Summary

The nurse is responsible for the delivery of clinical nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing environment The nurse assumes a leadership role in the delivery and management of health care and the operation of the nursing team they directly supervise.

Education

Graduate from an accredited nursing program required

Experience

One year of experience in a long term care, post-acute, hospital, or similar setting preferred

Credentials

Must be licensed in the state of Oklahoma or compact state as a Registered or License Practical Nurse

Duties

Weekly assessments as scheduled, documentation must be accurate, timely, and concise.

Works with the team to ensure that care is completed, assuring that measures are completed by the CNA and appropriate documentation is completed.

Reviews care plans of each patient, making changes as the patient’s condition or plan of care changes and complete an admission care plan.
