Phlebotomist

Place of Performance :

Dallas, TX

A-Team Solutions is seeking Full-time phlebotomist. Monday-Friday 0500-1330 with rotating weekends for the Dallas, TX VA hospital. Must have inpatient experience.

Job Duties :

Certified Phlebotomist, or a trained phlebotomist with at least 2 years inpatient experience, to support Pathology & Laboratory Medicine internal phlebotomy services, both inpatient and outpatient, as needed.

Requirements :

i. Provide current resume / curriculum vitae material for phlebotomists. Resumes should document current and previous experience in providing phlebotomy services.

ii. Provide a statement of availability

iii. Provide a statement of health

iv. Basic Life Support (BLS) training (American Heart Association)

v. High School Diploma or Equivalent

vi. Phlebotomy experience must fulfill one of the following :

1. Completion of a certified phlebotomy program, or

2. Minimum of 2 years of documented inpatient phlebotomy experience, and

3. Medical Laboratory Technician Certification, or

4. ASCP or ASPT Certification a Plus, and

5. VA experience is preferred

6. Two (2) or more References - references of an equal or higher level of licensure than the contractor applicant (name, address, capacity, current telephone number, current email address) including the current or last supervisor.

b. Provide evidence of professional training and / or certificates - current transcripts and / or certificates of training.

Provide any transcript from an educational institution(s) certifying completion of graduation requirements, continuing education, and / or certifications from State
