Activities Coordinator
NeuroRestorative, a part of the Sevita family, provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain, spinal cord and medically complex injuries, illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings, we offer a range of programs, including vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, Military Service Members and Veterans.
Our 10-bed NeuroRestorative facility located in Oxnard, CA, is a fully licensed JCAHO accredited Congregate Living Healthcare (CLHF) facility that specializes in brain, spinal cord and other life-altering injuries and medically-complex illnesses. We offer in-patient treatment in a residential home-like setting to individuals of all ages, which includes neurorehabilitation, respite, post-acute, and sub-acute care.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will conduct group and individual recreational activities according to an individual's needs, capabilities, and interests.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and implement meaningful group activities with focus on emphasizing the preferences of individuals served.
Provide daily instruction and guidance to staff regarding activity delivery methods and techniques as well as at staff meetings.
Determine and implement necessary precautions in exercising responsibility for the care and safety of individuals served.
Maintain curriculum binders for each classroom to ensure that varied and age-appropriate activities are planned and conducted for all individuals served.
18.00-$21.00 per hour (based on experience)
32 hours / week
Monday-Friday; 8 : 00 am to 3 : 00 pm
Certification in Activity Coordinator preferred or 2+ years of experience

High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Activity Coordinator preferred
Two years' experience working with developmentally disabled adults, including planning and conducting activities for this population
Valid driver's license in good standing with car registration and vehicle insurance
All state-required training and certification completed in mandated timeframes
