Maintenance Supervisor
Compensation : $85,000–$100,000 annually
Shift Openings : 1 Night Shift, 1 Day Shift.

The Maintenance & Reliability Supervisor oversees the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities across a highly automated manufacturing facility. This leader supports equipment reliability, continuous improvement initiatives, and safe operations while directing a team of maintenance professionals. The role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on problem solving, and effective people leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Process Leadership
- Implement new equipment technologies, upgrades, process improvements, and manufacturing techniques.
- Oversee installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and production systems.
- Coordinate equipment and process design changes in partnership with engineering and operations.
Project & Technical Management
Evaluate project feasibility by analyzing technology requirements, resources, and customer needs.Review reports, enforce company policies, and participate in purchasing of materials and technical services.Prepare and present proposals, reports, and findings to internal and external stakeholders.Maintenance Operations
Support the development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Investigate equipment failures and unplanned downtime; develop and implement corrective actions.Manage PM / PD activities using automated maintenance software.Monitor spare parts and inventory levels to ensure cost efficiency and readiness.Continuous Improvement
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide progress updates to management.Ensure all equipment and processes operate at optimal performance levels.Provide ongoing technical support and guidance to the production team.Resource & Compliance Management
Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and service partners for timely, cost-effective work completion.Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Promote teamwork, employee engagement, and proactive safety practices.Reduce risks of accidents, equipment failure, and environmental impact.Qualifications
Skills & Technical Knowledge
Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, robotics, and automation systems.Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, electrical / mechanical / pneumatic / hydraulic schematics, and ladder / function block logic.Experience with industrial PCs and PLCs (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT).Familiarity with circuits involving relays, contactors, control voltage, limit switches, and sensors.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication / interpersonal skills.Traits
Highly detail-oriented; strong time management and project coordination capabilities.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.Able to work independently and collaboratively.Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.2–3 years of supervisory experience; 3-5+ years of Maintenance Technician experienceExperience in highly automated environments preferred.ABB robotics experience preferred.Fabrication experience a plus.
