Overview
The SAP Program Manager will lead and oversee large-scale SAP S / 4 HANA implementation and transformation program within an automotive environment. This role requires strong expertise in SAP modules relevant to manufacturing and supply chain, combined with deep knowledge of automotive processes. The Program Manager will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of SAP projects on time, within scope, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership
- Manage end-to-end SAP program execution across multiple work streams (MM, PP, SD).
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Establish program governance, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the bridge between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors.Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation strategies to executive leadership.Risk & Change Management
Identify potential risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions.Technical Oversight
Provide strategic input on SAP architecture and integration points.Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and automotive industry standards.Financial & Compliance
Monitor program budgets and control expenditures.Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO).Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in SAP project / program management.Proven track record of delivering large-scale SAP implementations in automotive or manufacturing sectors.Technical Skills
Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management), PP (Production Planning), and SD.Education
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business; MBA preferred.CertificationsPMP, Agile, or SAP-related certifications are a plus.Preferred Skills
Deep understanding of automotive supply chain and production processes.Experience with Tier 1 suppliers or OEM environments.Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
