Mobius Mobility is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our growing team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for receiving shipments, managing documentation, and tracking orders using our CRM tools. You’ll also help maintain controlled inventory areas, properly segregate materials in accordance with our quality management system, and ensure all customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
General job duties as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk :
- Medical device experience preferred, working with the disability community a plus
- Detail, safety, and quality oriented
- Must be able to bend, twist, and reach frequently, must be able to lift 75lbs frequently
- Experience with handling customer complaints
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to maintain a high level of quality
- Ability to prioritize work and multi-task effectively
- Good computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – internally and externally
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide support to departmental and company goals
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when provided with sensitive information
- Maintains active Lithium Ion battery shipping certificate
Education Requirements :
AS or BS degree preferred with technology related coursework.1-3 years in a shipping, receiving, inspection, materials or quality preferredTo be successful in this role as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk, you will need the following skills :
Maintains incoming and outgoing packages in warehouseTracking inventory, keeping accurate recordsPackages and weighs items for proper postage, printing of shipping labelsInspection of goods received for damage and distribution of products to appropriate departmentsMaintains controlled inventory areas per quality management systemUtilize CRM software to document, manage and track user ordersCompletes all quality paperwork following Good Documentation PracticesMaintain shipping and receiving and inventory / controlled areasPrepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materialsPack, seal, and label materials to prepare for shippingExamine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of shipmentAdhere to shipping and receiving policies / procedures, and regulatory compliance proceduresThrive in a fast paced, professional, customer-oriented company.Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipmentComplete daily shipping and receiving logsStrong attention to detailGeneral
Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.Participate in the company’s Performance Improvement ProgramParticipate in company committees when requestedParticipate in in-service education programs provided by the companyPursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilitiesPerform other special projects or duties as determined by managementReport any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer, FDA Management Rep., Safety Officer or HIPAA Officer as appropriatePhysical Requirements :
