Quality Control Manager and Superintendent

Location :

TBD; Candidate must be willing to relocate within the United States.

Job Summary :

Elevated Technologies, Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control Manager and Superintendent to oversee the quality assurance processes and the day-to-day operations related to elevator installation and maintenance. This is a dual-hat position that requires a hands-on approach, including the physical capability to carry heavy equipment and navigate staircases and mechanical rooms.

Key Job Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the onsite point of contact and leader for the overall coordination, supervision, and execution of daily construction activities
  • Work with the Site Safety & Health Officer to enforce compliance with the contractor's safety plan
  • Lead daily briefings and weekly progress meetings with the subcontractors and owner representatives
  • Resolve field issues and maintain clear communication with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with contract requirements and safety regulations
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field staff
  • Maintain the daily contractor quality control report (QCR) during the preparatory phase, initial phase, and follow-up phase as well as other reports such as daily report and deficiency logs
  • Review submittals and coordinate approvals
  • Ensure all testing and inspections are performed and documented per the contract

Physical Duties :

  • Ability to carry and maneuver heavy equipment that is necessary for repairs and installations
  • Navigate up and down stairs to access machine rooms and operational zones
  • Qualifications :

  • Excellent leadership, scheduling, and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of specifications, safety standards, construction sequencing, testing procedures, and construction tolerances.
  • Experience in quality control and safety compliance
  • Technical knowledge of elevator systems
  • USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors Manager Certification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Adobe, and Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with RMS and Procore
  • High school diploma
