Position : Full-time Service Technician

Pay : $19.00 - $24.00 per hour, with additional performance incentives.

Location : Springs at Lockport, Lockport, Illinois

Reports to : Service Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

Your main role is to get apartment homes ready for new residents and address current residents' service needs. This involves a wide range of tasks, including :

  • Repairs : You'll handle various repairs related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, drywall, and appliances.
  • Maintenance : You'll be involved in painting, general carpentry, and maintaining building exteriors.
  • Support : You'll work closely with the Service Supervisor.
  • Customer Service : You're expected to provide "above and beyond" service to residents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The company is looking for someone who is motivated, detail-oriented, and has the following qualifications :

  • Experience : Previous experience in manual labor or a related field is necessary.
  • Physical Ability : You must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds alone, and up to 250 pounds with assistance. The role also requires frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Flexibility : You must be available to work overtime and be on call, which includes some weekends and holidays.
  • Technology : You'll need to be comfortable using computers, tablets, and phones to do your job.
